SEGUIN TWP. - The Seguin Bruins earned their first point of the year in a 4-3 over time loss to the visiting Collingwood Blues. For the third straight game the Bruins opened the scoring as Brett Theberge notched his first Jr. ‘A’ goal.

Late in the second period, Boston native Jeff Armando tipped in a Logan Clark point shot to knot the game at two with his first of the year. The Blues went up 3-2 early in the third but the Bruins came back midway through the period to tie it on a goal by Jojo Bojanowski.

In overtime, a goal that appeared to be gloved in by a Blue was allowed to stand and Collingwood left town with two points.

The Bruins outshot the Blues 52-34 and each team had a power play goal.

The Bruins’ next game is in Collingwood on Friday, September 23 and on Saturday the 24, the Huntsville Otters visit Humphrey. Game time is 7 p.m.
