Surf the Big Comfy Couch at the Stockey
PARRY SOUND - The popular kids television show, Big Comfy Couch, has hit the road as one big wacky, live, interactive show - and it’s coming here, tonight, January 19.
There will be one show only at the Charles W. Stockey Centre.
This show has been bringing smiles to children’s faces across the country. It encourages participation from children and even parents, who have been known to join the amusing and exciting characters on stage, in a fun, educational, and stimulating environment.
All the characters will be there: Loonette the little clown-girl and her best friend Molly the dolly, Granny Garbanzo, Major Bedhead the clown courier, the Governor of Clowntown and a host of colourful clowns from Clowntown. All these lovable characters show up on Loonette’s journey where she wakes up on the Big Comfy Couch only to find a big forget-me-not bow on her finger. Problem is, she can’t remember what she wasn’t supposed to forget. After her ever-popular Clock Stretch, Loonette and Molly embark on their journey through Clowntown waltzing into many crazy, wacky antics along the way to the Festival of Wiggles and Giggles and Goofy Friends.
Big Comfy Couch Live on Stage is complete with three set and scenery changes, numerous costume changes, and a cast of eight who play 12 characters. Based on the award winning television series, this production delivers an action packed adventure that will have the whole family up on their feet singing and dancing.
