Blitz???
from Not Impressed
I would just like to know why I see several OPP cruisers daily on highway 69 north thru the week, pulling all the local people over. But come the weekend when all the "terrorists"(tourists) are out and about, driving like mad men...I never see one!
I've been cut off, and almost run right off the road on several occations this summer. Idiots driving 90 thru Nobel, where the speed limit is posted as 70...where are the OPP when they are needed? Oh yeah, they are waiting to pull over all the locals thru the week, and allowing everyone else to think they can drive as dangerously as they wish!!!

Too bad the population isn't booming too.
Parry sound population according to Canada Census. 1996= 6500, 2001= 6300, 2006= 5800.
That's right , the population of Parry Sound has been dropping at an increasing rate for over 10 years.
So much for 'BOOM'.
